Bowmore Whisky

Working with design agency The Tree, we developed a range of product images for Beam Suntory’s Bowmore brand of whiskys.

Made available to the global markets via their online image portal, these suites of images were used for marketing, trade publications and point of sale. Each variety typically had around 12 shots and a 360 spin animation.

Because the ranges are supplied as assets for local markets around the globe to adapt, meticulous planning and execution was required. The above range has three variations with different packaging for each, so careful management was especially important.

Nice Ombré!

A cloth simulation was used to achieve the natural folds of the drawstring bag. Using dedicated texturing software for the cloth weave, stitching and metallic print meant a realistic finish for the bag as well.

Digital replicas or ‘twins’ offer a great deal of flexibility. As well as being very effective for static images they are also the starting point for further developments such as animation and even integration with visual effects.
